Zoot Suit (play)

Written By Luis Valdez, this play tells the story of Henry Reyna, a pachuco gangster and his gang, who were unfairly prosecuted and thrown in jail for a murder they did not commit. This play is set against the background of the Zoot Suit Riots and World War II. Zoot Suit was the first Chicano play on Broadway.
