Apple includes a version of Zapfino in Mac OS X, partly to demonstrate the advanced typographic features of AAT?s morx table format. The version included with Mac OS X contains only one of the 6 weights sold by Linotype.

In Mac OS X, the text above should be displayed with ligatures. Unfortunately, few web browsers display text with ligatures, not even Safari. Copying and pasting the text into TextEdit or any other Cocoa application, however, will display it as it was meant to be.
