Zakarine
King Zakarine, also known as Sakkarin, Sakharine, Sackarine, Zackarine, and Zacharine (originally Kham Souk) (1840 March 25 1904) was the King of Luang Prabang 1894-1904.. He was succeeded by his son, King Sisavang Vong. Zakarine was also the regent of Luang Prabang for his ailing father from 1888 until he himself became king. His father was King Oun Kham and his wife was Queen Thongsy. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
