Yvonne Rainer
Yvonne Rainer (born 1934) is an American choreographer and filmmaker.

She studied theater in New York City from 1957 and became interested in dance, co-founding the Judson Dance Theater, which would prove to be influential in post-modern dance. She began to integrate short films into her choreography in the late 1960s, and in the 1970s moved into filmmaking fully, making a number of award-winning feature-length films as well as a number.
