Yorba Linda, California
Yorba Linda is a city located in Orange County, California, approximately 13 miles northeast of Downtown Santa Ana. The Current OMB metropolitan designation for Yorba Linda and the Orange County Area is “Santa Ana-Anaheim-Irvine, CA.” As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 58,918. It is served by the Yorba Linda Water District.
Education
Yorba Linda is part of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. Several schools in the district have received the California Distinguished Schools award, which is given to schools with qualifying marks in test scores, application, and visitation. The award-winning schools are: El Dorado High, Esperanza High, Tuffree Middle, Bernardo Yorba Middle, Yorba Linda Middle School, Travis Ranch School, Bryant Ranch School, Mabel Paine Elementary, Van Buren Elementary, and Brookhaven Elementary.
