In addition, Levi has produced many recordings on a variety of composers and compositions, including electric guitar Yngwie J. Malmsteen. Previous attempts of this by the rock band Metallica are well known, however Malmsteen's differs in that he specifically wrote and composed songs for the album, whereas Metallica simply played their hits with an orchestra in the background. Classical gurus turned their noses up at Metallica, however many enjoy listening to Malmsteen's approach.
