Yaren (area 1.5 km², population 1,100 in 2003), in earlier times Makwa, is a district and constituency of the island nation of Nauru, located in the south of the island. The district is located at 0°33' South, 166°55' East (-0.55, 166.91667). http://earth-info.nga.mil/gns/html/cntry_files.html
