Born Alvin Nathaniel Joiner in Detroit, Michigan, he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, with his family, when he was 10-years old. Around age 13 he started getting in trouble with the local police, and at age 14 was sent to juvenile detention for a short stint. From age 14 to age 17 he was kicked-out of several Albuquerque high schools. At that point he took what little money he had, $2000 (U.S. Dollars), and headed to Los Angeles, California in his purple and black GEO Tracker to pursue his dream.
