Xorcist


 
 

Xorcist is the name of an American musical group whose output has ranged from industrial, electronic body music, ambient, ethereal, and gothic music. Xorcist released music from 1991 to 1999.

Xorcist started as a one-man act, founded by Bat (b. Peter Stone) who began experimenting in music in 1985. In 1990, he formed Xorcist in an attempt to set new musical standards in the electronic music scene, crossing over industrial music with sonic soundscapes. He was eventually joined by Evoltwin, who also provided cover art for several releases.
