Wynnewood, Pennsylvania
Wynnewood, Pennsylvania is a suburban community located outside of Philadelphia in the Lower Merion Township, Pennsylvania. Wynnewood is named for Thomas Wynne, the first Speaker of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Wynnewood is one of the largest areas within Lower Merion, and encompasses surburban residential neighborhoods with business districts and institutions such as Lankenau Hospital, St. Charles Seminary, Palmer Theological Seminary, and Friends Central School.
