WITF


 
 

WITF is a non-profit company, established in 1963, that produces public media in central Pennsylvania. WITF-TV is a PBS affiliate available on analog channel 33 and digital channel 36 throughout the viewing area; WITF-FM 89.5 serves classical music and NPR news; and Central PA magazine reviews local food and culture.

On weekdays, WITF-FM carries NPR's Morning Edition from 5 to 9 AM and overlays local news over the financial news segment. Tim Lambert has been hosting the show for several years. All Things Considered, hosted by Scott Gilbert, has a similar format and runs from 4 to 6 PM.

WITF is supported by a mix of member pledges and federal funding.
