Wipro Technologies, the Global IT Services division of Wipro Limited (incorporated 1946, in operation since 1945) is an India-based global IT services, IT solutions and technology services major. It is headquartered in Bangalore,India and is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, National Stock Exchange of India and the New York Stock Exchange. As of 2004, it was the 4th largest company in the world in terms of market capitalization in IT services.
