Winslow (Navajo Béésh Sinil or Béésinil) is a city located in Navajo County, Arizona. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 9,520.

Winslow was made famous by the song "Take It Easy" written by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey and performed by The Eagles. The song tells the tale of a disconsolate singer with woman troubles and includes the lines:

The scene was replicated as a mural painted on the side of a building in Standin' on the Corner Park in Winslow. On October 18, 2004, a fire destroyed the building and the park is closed indefinitely.

According to www.standinonthecorner.com the town had suffered a loss of commerce when Route 66 was supplanted by Interstate 40, but the popularity of the song led to renewed attention for Winslow and a commercial renaissance.

The town also posted a billboard on I-40 with the words: "Winslow, Arizona says 'Take it easy'".
