Wings (TV series)
Wings was a sitcom that ran on NBC from 1990 to 1997. The show starred Timothy Daly and Steven Weber as brothers Joe and Brian Hackett. The show took place at Tom Nevers Field, a small airport on the island of Nantucket, Massachusetts, where the brothers operated Sandpiper Airlines. Other regulars include Crystal Bernard, David Schramm, Rebecca Schull, Thomas Haden Church, and Tony Shalhoub. Later, Amy Yasbeck (John Ritter's widow) and Farrah Forke joined the cast. Thomas Haden Church ultimately left the show to pursue other options, specifically the short-lived sitcom Ned and Stacey.

Wings was created and produced by the late David Angell, who also was a producer for Cheers. The two NBC sitcoms, both set in Massachusetts, shared many similarities, and characters from Cheers occasionally made guest appearances on Wings.
