Wim Wenders

Wilhelm Ernst ("Wim") Wenders (born August 14, 1945) is a German-born film director, author and producer.

Wenders received Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1985 for his movie Paris, Texas, he was awarded an honorary doctorate at the Sorbonne in Paris in 1989 and at the Universit? Catholique de Louvain, Belgium in 2005 and received the Leopard of honour at the Locarno International Film Festival in 2005.

Much of the visually stunning cinematography in his movies were as a result of a highly productive collaboration with cinematographer Robby Muller.
