Williamson Evers
Williamson M. Evers is a research fellow at the Hoover Institution, located at Stanford University. Between July and December of 2003, he served as a senior education advisor to the Coalition Provisional Authority during the U.S. occupation of Iraq http://www-hoover.stanford.edu/pubaffairs/releases/2003/08evers.html.

Previously, from 1996 to 1998, he was associated with the California State Commission for the Establishment of Academic Content and Performance Standards. In 2001, he was appointed by President George W. Bush to the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars. As of 2005, he is a research fellow of the Hoover Institution and a member of its Koret Task Force on K-12 Education.
