William Sadler

William Sadler (born April 13,1950 in Buffalo, New York) is an American actor.

He is well known for his role in the 1990 action film ' as "Colonel Stuart", as "Heywood" in the 1994 prison drama The Shawshank Redemption and as the Grim Reaper in the 1991 sequel Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. He also appeared on the television series Roswell as "Sheriff Jim Valenti."

His film credits range from Trespass, K-9, Project X, Disturbing Behavior, the upcoming films Purple Heart and Jimmy and Judy.
