William M. Jennings
William M. Jennings (born December 14, 1920 in New York, New York - August 7, 1981) was an owner in the National Hockey League.

William was owner of the New York Rangers from 1959 until his death in 1981. During this time, the Rangers went from also-rans to Stanley Cup contenders. The William M. Jennings Trophyis named in honor of William. William also helped initiate the Lester Patrick Trophy in 1966. He was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1975.
