William M. Jennings Trophy


 

The William M. Jennings Trophy is an annual award given to the goaltender(s) having played a minimum of 25 games for the team in the National Hockey League with the fewest goals scored against it. Winners are selected based on regular-season play.

The trophy is named in honour of the late William M. Jennings, longtime governor and president of the New York Rangers and a builder of ice hockey in the United States. It was first presented following the 1981-82 NHL season.
