William Gibson (playwright)


 

William Gibson (b. 1914) is an American playwright. His most famous play is The Miracle Worker, a story of Helen Keller's childhood education, first produced in 1959. His other works include Two for the Seesaw (1958); Monday After the Miracle (1982, in South Africa); the book of the musical version of Clifford Odets's Golden Boy (1964); and Golda's Balcony (1977).
