William Ellis Green
William Ellis Green, who signed his cartoons WEG, was a political cartoonist for the Melbourne Herald, where he started work in 1946, for forty years. He was awarded the Order of Australian Merit (OAM) for services to cartooning and illustrating the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.
