Fabry was the most famous German medicus (Wundarzt) of that time. He is considered as one of the founder of scientific surgery.

- In 1587 - He married Colinet, the daughter of a Genevese printer.

- 1615 - 1634 Surgeon in Berne on the wish of the city council
