Wild 'N Out

Wild 'N Out is a show on MTV starring Nick Cannon. On the show there are two teams, called the Red Squad and the Black Squad, with Nick normally captain of the Red Squad. During the show the two teams will face off in quirky improv comedy games where a funny moment gets a bell and not so funny moments get a buzzer. At the end of the rounds bells are tabulated and the team with the most bells gets a point. Each game consists of 4 rounds, the first three varying with each show. The 4th and final round (which stays the same in all episodes) is called WildStyle, which is a freestyle rap battle similar to the ones featured in the Eminem movie 8 Mile, but each team member has to rhyme and drop a punchline on their opponent at the same time. In the game, each round won is worth one point, with the sole exception being the final round where each punchline in WildStyle is worth a point EACH to the team's final score. The team with the most points by the end of WildStyle wins the game outright. Each episode of Wild 'N Out features a special guest star and musical performance, the former sometimes also being the featured performer for the episode. It is already confirmed that MTV has requested 10 more episodes for a second season to air in early 2006.
