The album came in special packaging that contained sheer red paper around the inserts to create a sultry effect. The title was written as a poem over Apple's face on the cover. The album's unusually long title has become a source of trivia today, and currently holds the world record for longest album title.

The debut single, "Fast As You Can," was fairly popular and received moderate video airplay on television. It charted at #20 on the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and #33 on the UK Singles Chart. The follow-up singles, "Limp" and especially "Paper Bag", were less successful. The video for "Paper Bag" featured Apple as a damsel in distress lamenting something in a bus station while children dressed as gangsters and molls dance around her.
