Wheelock College
Wheelock College is an institution of higher learning located in Boston, Massachusetts. The school was founded in 1888 by Lucy Wheelock. The mission of Wheelock College is to improve the quality of life for children and their families. It achieves this by specializing in the fields of child life, social work, juvenile justice and education. The current president is Jackie Jenkins-Scott, who was officially sworn in as Wheelock's thirteenth president on April 8, 2005. Ms. Scott has an advanced degree in Social Work from Boston University's School of Social Work.
