WGY is an AM talk radio station in the United States, with its studio in Albany, New York, and its transmitter tower near Schenectady, New York. It is a clear-channel station in the old sense of the word, i.e. it operates a class I-B license, which requires at least 10,000 watts of transmitter power 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and allows up to 50,000 watts. WGY transmits on 810 kHz at 50,000 watts.
