Westby, Wisconsin
Westby is a city located in Vernon County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 2,045. Westby is named after general store owner and Civil War Union soldier Ole T. Westby of Vestby, Norway, from whence many of its original Norwegian-American settlers emigrated.
