West Ham is a place in the London Borough of Newham in east London. From 1888 to 1965 it was an independent county borough. West Ham is also a parliamentary constituency.

The Association Football club, West Ham United F.C. are named for the area. They play at the Boleyn Ground in nearby Upton Park.
