West Derby (hundred)

The hundred of West Derby (sometimes known as West Derbyshire, not to be confused with Derbyshire) was an ancient subdivision of Lancashire, covering the south-west of the county. It corrsponds roughly to today's Merseyside north of the River Mersey.
