West Coast Computer Faire
The West Coast Computer Faire was an annual meeting of the emerging computer industry in San Francisco and in other locations in California, organized by Jim Warren and Bob Reiling. By that time it was the biggest computer show in the world, intended to bring computers to the people. The first faire was held in 1977, the 13th and last one in 1989. In about 1983, Warren sold the rights to the Faire for $3 million to Prentice Hall who later sold it to Sheldon Adelson (Owner of Interface Group, and COMDEX located in Las Vegas).
