Wen Xiu
Wen Xiu (??) (1907 - 1950/51), also named Wen Hui (??), was an Imperial Consort of the Third Degree, who was conferred the title Shu (??) on her by the Xuantong Emperor Puyi, in Beijing's Forbidden City. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Along with the Emperor Puyi, and Empress Wan Rong, she left the Forbidden City in 1924, and moved to the Chang Garden in Tianjin. She filed and was granted a divorce in 1931. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Following the divorce, Puyi, urged by former Qing courtiers, strippped Wen Xiu of her Imperial Titles. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In 2004, the descendants of the Qing Imperial House granted posthumous titles to Puyi, his two wives and two consorts. They did not give Wen Xiu a posthumous title, citing the fact that she was demoted to commoner following her divorce. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
