Weehawken Township is a township located in Hudson County, New Jersey. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 13,501.

Situated along the Hudson River across from Manhattan and along the southern end of the Palisades, Weehawken is the location of the western terminus of the Lincoln Tunnel. On July 11, 1804, Aaron Burr shot and fatally wounded Alexander Hamilton in Weehawken during a duel.
