Weeds is a Showtime comedy television series. The first season - of 10 episodes - is currently airing.

Plot Synopsis

Nancy Botwin is a mother living in suburban California, whose husband drops dead one day without leaving her any money. To make money, Nancy begins dealing cannabis to individuals in the same housing development. She gets a surprise when she finds customers in her wealthy neighbors: Celia Hodes, head of the PTA, who is dealing with a cheating husband, a bad-girl eldest daughter, and a chubby younger daughter; and Nancy's homophobic accountant Doug Wilson. (Note, of these characters, Doug Wilson is the only one that we've seen buying from Nancy.)
