WDIA
WDIA is an AM radio station in Memphis, TN. Similar to the Orange Mound neighborhood in Memphis, it was the first ever American radio station programmed by African Americans. Many music legends got their start there, including B.B. King and Rufus Thomas. Elvis Presley was greatly influenced by the station.
