Way of St. James
The Way of St James, or St James' Way, (Spanish: El Camino de Santiago) is one of any number of pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in north-westernmost Spain. It has been one of the most important Christian pilgrimages since medieval times, the others being to Rome and Jerusalem. It has been in existence for about 1000 years. It has attracted a growing number of modern pilgrims from around the globe.
The Way of St. James in England
The Confraternity of St. James (London) has created different historical based pilgrim ways to the main harbours of England:

- Way of St. James from Droitwich Spa to Bristol
- Way of St. James from London to Southampton, the most important harbour in medieval times to go to La Rochelle, Bordeaux or La Coruna
- Way of St. James from London about Canterbury to Dover to go to Calais in the North of France. These Route was described in the 14th century by Geoffrey Chaucer in his Canterbury Tales.
