Waverly, Ohio
Waverly is a city located in, and the county seat of Pike County, Ohio. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 4,433. The town was formed in 1829, as the construction of the Ohio-Erie Canal along the west bank of the Scioto River brought new growth to the area. In 1861 the county seat was moved here from Piketon.
