The available room: Fully furnished, private and quiet carpeted room includes NEW CAL KING bed with brand new bedding ensemble with all the sheets shams bed skirt etc.., additional down comforter for ample warmth and comfort -(all linens - towels - etc. are provided) - large cedar dresser and hutch (not cedar chest) with drawers and cupboards-beautiful framed mirror on top, large closet space - freshly painted wooden desk with 3 deep and roomy drawers (matched to a fab Z Gallery Italian high back chair), lg 2 drawer bedside table, ceiling lighting, as well as 2 great floor lamps, color TV with VCR if you like to have a go at my large video collection, DSL high-speed WiFi connection, 6 socket Belkin surge protector for the best protection of your sensitive (expensive) electronics,) Several wicker baskets and a large storage chest for bulky items-nice big window with mini blinds and drapes looking out over a lush backyard area - west exposure which streams in golden light in mid to late afternoon. There is another TV with cable and DVD player in the living room which has 5 huge bay windows and leather furniture, brass lamps – you can’t help but be comfy here, everyone loves this flat! The entire flat is very clean, fully carpeted (except for the bathroom, WC, and the new floors in the large kitchen. All amenities included which would give you all the comforts of home. Washer and dryer downstairs (coin-op – huge capacity - $3/load – The kitchen has a coffee maker and 1100 watt microwave – toaster oven -all the little kitchen electrics, your own cookware and bake ware, dishes and cupboard space for pantry storage and individual fridge space too! (You even have your own steam iron to use) and a brand new stainless steel gas stove. There is also a large storage shelf for toiletries and such in the lg bathroom. You would be assured your privacy in a very safe, friendly environment among accomplished individuals from which to have as home base for your stay-and all the comforts of home while you are advancing your education or career in intensive work here in SF, or if relocating for your profession you can hit the ground running and take your time finding the “right place” for permanent residency. One month’s all inclusive rent is $975 with a security/damages deposit which is held for the duration of your stay-returned upon your departure when you return the keys-it also secures the room, (holds it for you until the move-in date) to assure you have one less thing to worry about knowing that your safety and stable housing are already handled freeing you up to concentrate on this new chapter in your life.. Sorry pets cannot move in too - (landlord rules) and this is a room for 1 person. Please keep in mind that this is a temporary rental of a really great room in a 100 year old Edwardian upper flat in one of the best neighborhoods in SF that is specifically being offered to one who is in advanced studies-perfect for internships-visiting scholars, or a professional relocating. I can promise a serene, adult respectful environment that you can depend on being a refuge with similarly situated people who are busy, independent yet absolutely welcoming and warm - there is a very special vibe here-and it has a lot to do with respect and great humor.
