Water has the chemical formula H2O, meaning that one molecule of water is composed of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. It is in dynamic equilibrium between the liquid and solid states at standard temperature and pressure. At room temperature, approximately 25°C, it is a near-colorless (it has a slight hint of blue), tasteless, odorless liquid.
