Wassenaar

(population: 25,506 in 2004) is a town in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality covers an area of 62.50 km² (of which 11.65 km² is covered by water).

Prince Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, his wife Máxima Zorreguieta and their daughters Amalia and Alexia live in villa Eikenhorst at the estate De Horsten. There is also a large expatriate community in Wassenaar because of the American School of the Hague.
