Warsaw, Indiana
Warsaw is a city located in Kosciusko County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 12,415. The city is the county seat of Kosciusko County{{GR|6}}. Cradling Winona Lake, Pike Lake, and Center Lake, its nickname is "Lake City."
Industry
Warsaw is known as the "Orthopedic Capital of the World," with the first orthopedic device manufacturer started in 1895 by Revra DePuy of the DePuy Manufacturing Company. Subsequent competitors, such as Biomet and Zimmer, have been founded in Warsaw to support the industry. Several orthopedic suppliers are also present in the city.
