Institutions
Warrington is home to two colleges, Priestley College and Warrington Collegiate. The University of Chester has a campus at Padgate that was part of Warrington Collegiate. Warrington is also home to the Peace Centre, after the bombings which occurred in the town centre. This was Warrington's model to become a city, calling itself a "City for Peace".
