In late September of 2005, Cindy Sheehan referred to both North Carolina Senator Elizabeth Dole and Arizona Senator John McCain as "warmonger". Sheehan is using the term to label politicians who are supporting the war in Iraq, which she (and many others) feel is not justified. Sheehan maintains that America has been lied to by the "warmongering" Bush Administration, and that their decision to put US Soldiers in harms way in Iraq after 9/11 based on weapons of mass destruction is false, misleading, and a sad loss of American life.
