Wang Ming


 

Wang Ming (May 1904 - March 27, 1974),a senior leader of Chinese Communist Party in the early stage, the mastermind of famous group 28 Bolsheviks too,was Mao Zedong's major political rival during the 1930s. He opposed Mao's national deviation from the Comintern line. Wang epitomized the intellectualism and foreign dogmatism Mao criticized in his essays "On Practice" and "On Contradiction".The power struggle between Wang and Mao was a reflection of Comintern and Soviet Union orBolsheviks's endeavor to control the CPC and Chinese revolution and CPC's endeavor to get away from this control.
