Walter Parazaider
Walter Parazaider (born March 14, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois) is the saxophonist and occasional composer for the rock band Chicago. He also plays other woodwind instruments in the band, including clarinet and flute.

Parazaider began playing the clarinet at the age of 9, and by his teens had shown enough talent that he was being groomed for a career as a professional orchestral musician. He soon learned to play additional instruments, at least partly because he had "discovered that you could make a buck and get some girls playing a saxophone in a rock 'n roll band." http://www.mindspring.com/~raitken/walter.html

While attending DePaul University Parazaider met and began playing with the other musicians who would eventually form the band Chicago. He was also responsible for introducing the band to their original manager and producer, James William Guercio.
