A Voivodship (also voivodeship, Romanian: voievodat, Polish: wojew?dztwo, Serbian: vojvodstvo or vojvodina) was a feudal state in medieval Romania, Hungary, Poland, Russia and Serbia (see Vojvodina), ruled by a Voivod (voivode).
