Vodka/Red Bull, also known as VRB , Red Squared , Depth-Charge or Vodbull is a cocktail made by mixing vodka and Red Bull, it is popular in bars and clubs around Europe, the US and in Asia. The vodka/Red Bull ratio varies, but more often than not the ratio is about 1/1. The Red Bull dominates so that the flavour of the alcohol is not too strong. This drink is also popular as a shot.

This drink is especially popular in clubs, as the energy drink provides energy for dancing. It also allows the drinker to remain intoxicated yet not become tired. Alcohol is a depressant while the caffeine in Red Bull is a stimulant. Some believe this makes the combination dangerous, as it could put additional strain on the drinker's heart, much like a speedball.

Vodka/Red Bull is considered expensive when ordered at a club or bar in America, with many clubs charging in excess of $10 for a serving. However, in some other countries this is not the case. For example, in Britain it usually costs between £1 and £3 ($1.80–$5.40).

Be aware when mixing your own Red Bull and vodka that some people consider it dangerous, since two people died in Sweden having recently drunk Vodka Red Bull. However, the coroner did not find any direct link between the drink and the deaths. It is always a good idea to limit the amount of Red Bull you take to about two cans in any one sitting, depending on your body weight and your tolerance to caffeine (for example, if you have coffee, Red Bull or any of its equivalents regularly). Too high an intake of caffeine can cause an erratic heartbeat, which can occasionally lead to heart failure.
