Vladimir Ashkenazy
Vladimir Davidovich Ashkenazy (sometimes transliterated Ashkenazi) (Russian: ????????? ?????????) (born July 6, 1937) is a conductor and, more notably, a pianist. He was born in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, but has been an Icelandic citizen since 1972.
