Vivian Fuchs
Sir Vivian Ernest Fuchs (February 11 1908 – November 11 1999) was a British explorer.

Fuchs was born in Kent and educated at Brighton College. He is best known as the leader of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition to celebrate the International Geophysical Year, 1957. The expedition was the first to cross the continent of Antarctica.
