The first of its kind, Visible is a not-for-profit, free, quarterly magazine dedicated to giving LGBT history more visibility. Its content aims at revealing the full diversity and richness of the LGBT community?s history.

The emphasis is put on good design, accessibility and inclusiveness. Both the magazine and the website are designed to go further than current accessibility and diversity guidelines.

The content of Visible (text and pictures) is available freely for reuse for non commercial purposes subject to agreement, and on condition that the copyright holders are given credit.

The production costs are met through advertising and all profits derived from this are donated to LGBT History Month (UK) for the organisation and promotion of events.

With a circulation of 75,000 copies for the first issue, Visible is distributed nationally to LGBT associations and support groups, libraries and official bodies (Police forces, NHS, Unions, ?).
