Violin Concerto No. 2 (Bartók)


 

Dedicated to the Hungarian virtuoso, Zoltán Székely, Béla Bartók's Violin Concerto No. 2, BB 117 (written 1937-8) is a prime example of the gypsy fiddle influence or verbunkos style. Its three movements follow as such:
